Acer Aspire One 532H 3GAcer bounced back with its upgraded Aspire One series. It added 3G capability to netbook.

Although the looks remain the same as that of it predecessor, the Aspire One 532H 3G runs untiringly with an astounding battery life of 9.5 hours.

Specs: 10.1-inch LED display; Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor; 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD; 3 X USB ports, a VGA, Card Reader; Runs on Win 7 starter and weights 1.25 kg.

Acer Aspire One 533Acer has made some questionable design choices with the Aspire One range in the past, but the new 533 is possibly its best-looking netbook to date

The glossy black screen bezel detracts slightly from the overall design. However, the keyboard is mostly full-size; only the function and arrow keys have been shrunk to make room for the rest of the chiclet-style keys.

Despite the low 1,024×600 resolution, the 10.1in screen produces sharp images. The screen has fantastic vertical tilt, lying almost flat at its maximum, but usable angles that produce accurate colours are limited. Read more…

ACER Aspire One D260

ACER Aspire One D260Acer’s newest 10.1in netbook may be cheap, but it still looks stunning. At just 24mm high the D260 is slimmer than any netbook we’ve seen recently. The display is excellent too, with consistent and bright LED backlighting.  Colours are vibrant and contrast is good.

Unsurprisingly on such a slender netbook, the keyboard has little travel, but we wouldn’t be put off buying the D260 because of it.

There are the usual three USB ports and a memory card reader, but no HDMI output, with only a VGA connector. A small 160GB hard disk is fitted, with Windows 7 Starter edition installed. Read more…

Acer Aspire One D260 Android Netbook Review

Acer introduces its a new 10.1-inch Aspire One D260 netbook which has dual-boot capability with Android and Windows, likely XP. An update to the Aspire One D250. At the same time, Acer revealed a netbook running on Chrome OS is also due in the summer of this year.

The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB of HDD. Aspire One D260 features a 0.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a card reader and include 3G broadband support.

Acer Aspire 1825PT and 1825PTZ Netbooks Review

Today we introduces Acer’s 2 new 11.6-Inch capacitive touchscreen netbooks: Acer Aspire 1825PT  and Acer Aspire 1825PTZ models. Both  netbooks seem pretty great to us.

The 1825PT is is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz processor,  4GB of RAM, and a 250GB HDD while the 1825PTZ features an Intel Pentium SU4100 1.3GHz processor, again 250GB HDD, and 3GB of RAM.

Both tablets run on Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Acer introduces us its new Congo-based Ferrari One 1.6″ netbook. The netbook is powered by a 1.2GHz Athlon X2 Dual-Core L310 mobile processor and 1MB L2 Cache, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics , 800MHz DDR2 RAM (up to 4GB), a M780G chipset  and a 160GB hard drive.

The netbook comes equipped with a 11.6″ screen with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 and with bright LED backlighting, draft-n wireless, optional 3G, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, D-SUB video output, HDMI port, 6 USB ports, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi , Memory Stick,  SD,  MultiMedia Card, Dolby Home Theatre, optional HSDPA and a 6-cell (5,600mAh) battery.

Acer has launched the LT3000 11.6-inch wide netbook.The netbook has a 1366×768 resolution display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD and US15W chipset. Other features including three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP webcam and Windows XP operating system. The battery lifetime is   enough up to 3 hours.
