The EeePC 1015PE is the latest Asus netbook to use the Seashell design scheme. Its rounded corners and straight lines look great from any angle. The wedge-shaped body appears very thin from the front, but even from the back it’s a very sleek netbook. The white colour scheme looks great, even if the contrasting black screen bezel looks slightly out of place.

The 10.1in screen is very thin, but it includes an embedded webcam. This has a low resolution of 640×480, but it’s still fine for basic tasks such as Skype conversations. The screen itself has a resolution of 1,024×600, which is standard for netbooks of this size. Read more…

Asus introduces us its new a 10.1-inch (1,024 x 600 pixels) Eee PC 1001PX netbook powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB or 250GB of HDD. The netbook features 3X USB 2.0 ports, 802.11b/g WiFi, VGA output, ethernet, a memory card reader, a 0.3 megapixel webcama, mic/headphone jack, a 6 cell battery pack which supports up to 9 hours of netbook usage. The netbook weights only 1KG (measures 262 x 178 x 25.9 – 36.5mm).

Asus Eee PC 1001PX runs on either Windows XP or Windows 7 Home Edition OSs.

ASUS introduces us its new 12-inch the Eee PC 1201N netbook. The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, NVIDIA Ion graphics, 250GB SATA HDD and 2GB of RAM. 1201N comes equipped with  12-inch display at a resolutionof  1,366 x 768 with LED backlighting, Bluetooth, WiFi b/g/n, 10/100 ethernet, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, a 6-cell battery, VGA, a card reader and USB 2.0 ports.

The Eee PC 1201N will run on Windows 7 OS.

Asus is going to launch the new Eee PC T101H tablet netbook by the end of this year. The Eee PC T101H is the company’s second tablet netbook  after  T91.  Asus’s T101H will be boosted by an Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, and 1GB RAM (max 2GB). It comes with a 16GB SSD for storage and supports SD/SDHC, MMC memory cards. There is a 10.1-inch 1024×600 LED-backlit multi-touch LCD panel. The netbook also supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth,  GPS and 3G module. You can also expect integrated digital TV tuner.

Asus Eee PC T101H will run on Windows 7 OS.

Disney and Asus companies joined together and relesed a new Disney-branded netbook known as the Netpal. The netbook is designes especially for kids upto 12 years old. The ASUS Eee PC 1000HV features Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz processor with an ATI Radeon HD 3450 video card with 256MB of its own memory; it also has a 10-inch 1024 x 600 display, 1GB of RAM and a 160GB hard-drive. Eee PC 1000HV also includes VGA output, three USB 2.0 ports,audio in/out and an SD(SDHC)/MMC card reader, plus WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0.

Asus Eee PC 904 has an Intel Celeron 353M processor which works well with a 1GB DDR2 memory. The ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-M also drops down a processor rung, with the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 chip, and makes do with WiFi b/g/n but no Bluetooth.  The ASUS Eee PC 1005-HA-H, however, keeps the N280 1.66GHz Atom processor from the 1008HA, together with the WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.  Both 1005 models have 1GB of DDR2 RAM, a 160GB 5,400rpm hard-drive and 10-inch WSVGA 1024 x 600 displays, though the 1005HA-H adds a glossy coating to that.

Based on Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, the Asus 1002HAE otherwise takes the chassis of the Eee PC 1002HA and redresses it in red, blue or gray aluminum and a longer name.  Under the hood there’s the same 1GB of RAM and 160GB hard-drive, together with a battery ASUS claim is good for up to 3.8hrs of runtime.
