Averatec HS-105 Netbook Review

A new 10.1-inch Averatec HS-105 netbook was presented. The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 processor, an integrated Intel 945GSE graphics, 2GB of RAM and 160GB /250GB HDD. Averatec HS-105 comes equipped with a 1024 x 600 resolution LCD screen (with LED Backlight), a 1.3MP webcam, WiFi. The netbook runs on Windows 7 OS.

Unfortunately, so far we do not have any information on priceing of the netbook.

The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, a 160GB HDD, 1GB RAM, a Mobile Intel GMA950 video chipset. Averatec Buddy HS-102 has  LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution and comes equipped with 802.11b/g/n WiFi, either a 3 or 6 cell battery, a 1.3MP webcam and runs on Windows XP Home Edition OS.

Averatec

Averatec are developing a new netbook that is “a merger of cellphone and PC technology”, prompting speculation that the company will use Android as the budget ultraportable’s OS.  Company CEO Tae-Hyun “Tiger” Cho has described the OS as “a surprise” and would neither confirm nor deny the Android rumors; the Averatec netbook will reach the market in August or September 2009.
