I would like to introduce you an entertainment laptop from HP:  the 14.5-inch Pavilion dv5t. Let us see what features and specifications include the laptop.

As we mentioned above, the system boasts a 14.5-inch 1366 x 768 HD display. HP Pavilion dv5t is packed with an optional Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 640GB of HDD, an Intel HD graphics.

The laptop also includes either an optional DVD burner or Blu-ray drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, a HDMI output, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 6- or 9-cell battery pack and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional 64-bit OS.

Acer introduces its a new 10.1-inch Aspire One D260 netbook which has dual-boot capability with Android and Windows, likely XP. An update to the Aspire One D250. At the same time, Acer revealed a netbook running on Chrome OS is also due in the summer of this year.

The netbook is powered by an Intel Atom CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 160GB of HDD. Aspire One D260 features a 0.3-megapixel webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a card reader and include 3G broadband support.

New 10.1-inch LG X120 netbook was introduced. The netbook is powered by an 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, Intel GMA 950 Graphics and a 160GB HDD. LG X120 comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera, 802.11b, 802.11g Wi-Fi connectivity, HD stereo speakers, 3G (supporting HSDPA).

The netbook runs on Windows XP Home OS and weights only 1.14 kg.

Samsung introduced its N130 and N140 netbook models on the Russian market. According to Samsung the machines have larger keyboards and productive gesign. The N130 weighs a bit over 1KG and has 7 hours of battery life while N140 promises 11 hours instead. Both N130 and N140 are powered by an Atom N270 CPU and also can come with N280 CPU as well. Both machines feature the Intel 945GSE chipset, 160GB HDD, 1GB of RAM. The netbooks come equipped with 0.3MP webcams, Wi-Fi, memory card reader, Bluetooth, integrated mic. and VGA out.

Disney and Asus companies joined together and relesed a new Disney-branded netbook known as the Netpal. The netbook is designes especially for kids upto 12 years old. Toshiba NB205 mini laptop runs on a Intel Atom N280 processor (1.66GHz), has 1GB of RAM (up to 2GB), features a 10.1-inch widescreen display and a full QWERTY raised-tile keyboard with a “laptop-sized” touchpad.Mini NB205 offers nine hours of battery life and features a HDD with Impact Sensor technology that will prevent any data loss from those daily bumps.

Two new ASUS Eee Box nettops are in the works, according to listings on the Energy Star website.  The ASUS Eee Box EB1002 and Eee Box EB1006 both use Intel’s Atom 1.66GHz processor, with the former having integrated graphics and the latter an unspecified discrete video card with 128MB of memory. HP have announced three new models in their Mini netbook range, in the shape of the 1101, 110 XP and 110 Mi.  Based around a 10.1-inch LED-backlit LCD and either Intel’s Atom N270 or N280 processors, the new netbooks have GMA 950 graphics while the Mini 110 XP throws in a Broadcom Crystal HD Enhanced Video Accelerator good, apparently, for 1080p video. The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 comes with a 12.1″ WXGA (1280 x 800 resolution) display, Intel Atom N270 processor with GMA 850 graphics, up to 1GB of 533MHz RAM, up to a 320GB hard disk, an integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400 graphics and a 1080p HD video playback, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth and 3x USB, 1x Expresscard, a 4-in-1 card reader, VGA-out, RJA45 and that all important HDMI.

Acer has launched the LT3000 11.6-inch wide netbook.The netbook has a 1366×768 resolution display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD and US15W chipset. Other features including three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0, a 3MP webcam and Windows XP operating system. The battery lifetime is   enough up to 3 hours.
