Acer bounced back with its upgraded Aspire One series. It added 3G capability to netbook.

Although the looks remain the same as that of it predecessor, the Aspire One 532H 3G runs untiringly with an astounding battery life of 9.5 hours.

Specs: 10.1-inch LED display; Intel Atom 1.6 GHz processor; 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD; 3 X USB ports, a VGA, Card Reader; Runs on Win 7 starter and weights 1.25 kg.

Last year netbooks were so in vogue that we had to creat a new category for them in the rankings list. The winner this year is the Samsung N210.

The spec sheet looks similar to that of the competition, but what makes it the best netbook is its astounding battery life of over 10 hours. With it, the user will never fall short of power.

The EliteBook 8440p ultra-portable uses some powerful components.

The Intel Mobility Core i7 processor runs at 2.66GHz, but Turbo Boost provides improved performance in single-threaded applications. This alone is enough to fly through most tasks, but HP has gone a step further, installing Windows 7 Professional to a 160GB solid-state HDD.

The keyboard has flat, rubberised keys that provide very little tactile feedback when typing. Most are full size, but the function keys feel squeezed in at the top of the keyboard tray.

Acer’s newest 10.1in netbook may be cheap, but it still looks stunning. At just 24mm high the D260 is slimmer than any netbook we’ve seen recently. The display is excellent too, with consistent and bright LED backlighting.  Colours are vibrant and contrast is good.

Unsurprisingly on such a slender netbook, the keyboard has little travel, but we wouldn’t be put off buying the D260 because of it.

There are the usual three USB ports and a memory card reader, but no HDMI output, with only a VGA connector. A small 160GB hard disk is fitted, with Windows 7 Starter edition installed. Read more…

Toshiba has announced the Libretto W1Q0, a dual-touchscreen tablet PC running Windows 7 that could rival Apple’s iPad.

The W lOO runs on Windows 7 Home Premium and has a laptop-like clamshell design that opens to reveal two 7in touchscreen displays, each with a resolution of 1,024×600 pixels. The bottom display can be used to extend the standard Windows desktop, show the onscreen keyboard or display Toshiba’s own LifeSpace program. This application not only allows you to launch programs and hies but can also display notes and photos on a virtual bulletin board. I would like to introduce you an entertainment laptop from HP:  the 14.5-inch Pavilion dv5t. Let us see what features and specifications include the laptop.

As we mentioned above, the system boasts a 14.5-inch 1366 x 768 HD display. HP Pavilion dv5t is packed with an optional Intel Core i3 or i5 CPU, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, up to 640GB of HDD, an Intel HD graphics.

The laptop also includes either an optional DVD burner or Blu-ray drive, WiFi, Bluetooth, a HDMI output, a 5-in-1 card reader, a 6- or 9-cell battery pack and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional 64-bit OS.

HP rolled out a 18.4-inch laptop with 1920 x 1080 Ultra BrightView LCD display. The laptop features Intel Core i7 Q720 1.6-2.6GHz Quad Core CPU, 6MB L2.

HP Pavilion dv8t comes equipped with 4GB DDR3 RAM, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M 1GB graphics, 500GB HDD (up to 2815MB), Blu-ray ROM, 3X USB 2.0, VGA output, HDMI output, Firewire 1394a, Ethernet, Infrared port. The laptop runs on Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Toshiba announced a new 14-inch Satellite series Pro L510 business laptop. Toshiba Satellite Pro L510 features a 14-inch TruBrite® LED-backlit display and is packed with Intel® Core™2 Duo T6570 2.1GHz Processor, 3GB DDR3 1066MHz RAM (up to 4 GB), 250GB HDD, an Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated graphics.

The laptop comes equipped with a DVD SuperMulti drive, 802.11(a/g/n) WiFi, Bluetooth V2.1 + EDR, a built-in webcam and microphone jack, LAN, VGA output, 3x USB Ports (+ 1x eSATA/USB Combo), a 6 Cell Lithium-Ion battery pack which allows to work the machine approximately 3 hours and weights from 2.29kg.

The Toshiba Satellite Pro L510 Business Laptop runs on Windows 7 Professional OS.

Asus launched a new 13.3-inch U30Jc laptop powered by an Intel Core i3 2.26GHz processor, Nvidia GeForce GT310M graphics (Nvidia Optimus technology), up to 4GB RAM, up to 640GB HDD. The laptop features a 13.3-inch 1366 x 768 LED display, Altec Lansing speakers, 802.11n wireless networking (Wi-Fi), a 0.3-megapixel webcam, gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output, DVD/Blu-ray disc drive.

Asus U30Jc runs on Windows 7 Home Premium OS.

Asus introduces us its new a 10.1-inch (1,024 x 600 pixels) Eee PC 1001PX netbook powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB or 250GB of HDD. The netbook features 3X USB 2.0 ports, 802.11b/g WiFi, VGA output, ethernet, a memory card reader, a 0.3 megapixel webcama, mic/headphone jack, a 6 cell battery pack which supports up to 9 hours of netbook usage. The netbook weights only 1KG (measures 262 x 178 x 25.9 – 36.5mm).

Asus Eee PC 1001PX runs on either Windows XP or Windows 7 Home Edition OSs.
